Dear Participants, Alumni, Partners and Colleagues,

We would like to invite you to our upcoming Knowledge Sharing Webinar Series (KSWS) on 21 April 2017, Friday, 1:00–2:30 PM (Manila Time, GMT+8).

The topic is Strategic Leadership in Public Organizations.  This free webinar is part of the pre-event activities of the upcoming Annual Program 2017 in Tokyo.

The speaker is Young Uck Kang, Knowledge Sharing and Services Specialist of ADB's Knowledge Sharing and Services Center.  Before joining ADB, Kang served as a professor at KDI School of Public Policy and Management in Seoul, Korea for nine years.  His areas of expertise are governance, strategic leadership, public finance, economic analysis, policy analysis, urban development, and conflict resolution and negotiation.

In the session, he will discuss practical tools and frameworks to develop strategic action plans, and understand different leadership styles needed for different situations to lead change and to get results that add values.

You can join the webinar in two ways:

  • Real-time interaction with speaker and participants using the CloudAxis platform – If you use this option, we require you to attend a very short practice session before the actual event to help you familiarize with the system or address any potential technical problems. The practice session will be from 10:00 AM to 12:45 PM (Manila Time, GMT+8) on the same day. You may log in at any time at your convenience within that period.
  • View event through the Live Broadcast Site – If you use this option, you can only view the event and can interact with the speakers and participants through quick emails to information@ADBLeadership.Asia. The Asia Leadership Program Secretariat will relay your queries live to the speakers.

Let us know your preferred mode by sending us an email at inquire@ADBLeadership.Asia.  We will provide you with a step-by-step reference guide, as well as other learning materials to help you prepare you for the webinar.

The Knowledge Sharing Webinar Series is now on its second year.  It aims to facilitate learning and lessons sharing among participants, alumni and partners on topics related to sustainable development and climate change.
